VDT Ventures · The Launch Arm

Most companies
reach orbit.
We build for escape.

There is a speed past which gravity no longer pulls you back. Below it, you circle forever — busy, burning fuel, never leaving. Above it, you break free. VDT Ventures exists for the founders aiming past orbit: we launch moonshots and back creative startups from the ground up.

v·esc = √(2GM/r) 11.2 km/s · earth ↗ trajectory: open ORBIT · RETURNS ESCAPE · DEPARTS
vesc = √(2GM/r)
Escape velocity is the minimum speed needed to break free of a body's gravity and never fall back. It depends only on the mass you are escaping and your distance from its centre — not on the size of the ship. A pebble and a starship need the same threshold. So does a solo founder and a hundred-person company. What matters is not how big you are. It is whether you reach the speed.
One Equation · Three Arms

Orbit, escape, or cross alone.

The same physics governs every arm of v=d/t — but each aims at a different speed. One keeps companies in stable, powered orbit. One is built to leave the ground entirely. One is for a single navigator.

The Voyage · Orbital Velocity

We keep you in orbit.

For established companies, the goal is a stable, powered path — moving fast, holding altitude, never falling back. The agency gives clients direction and collapses their time through AI systems built into how they already work. It is velocity, sustained.

The Solo Crossing · Personal Velocity

We cross with you.

For senior leaders who must direct AI, not merely commission it. A personal commission — your displacement, your bearing, your time. Not a course, not a cohort. A chart made for one navigator's specific crossing. The Solo Crossing →

Sustained thrust
The Ventures Principle

A rocket under continuous thrust can escape at any speed.
You do not have to be fast.
You have to keep burning.

This is the physics that makes a venture studio matter. Escape is not a single heroic burst — it is sustained energy, applied long enough to break free. We are that sustained energy for the companies we launch.

Holding orbit
The Launch Sequence · Four Stages

How we get a venture off the ground.

α
IgnitionWeeks 0–4 · the spark
We start with founders and raw ideas — yours or ours. A short, intense period to pressure-test the concept, fix the destination, and decide whether there is enough energy here to reach escape. Most ideas stay grounded. The right ones get a launch window.
β
BuildMonths 1–6 · the thrust
We embed and build alongside the founder — product, brand, and the AI systems that let a tiny team move like a large one. This is where v=d/t's own machinery becomes the startup's unfair advantage. We supply velocity as infrastructure.
γ
LaunchThe departure burn
First customers, first revenue, first proof the trajectory is open. We help the venture reach the point where its own momentum carries it — where it no longer needs us to keep climbing.
δ
ReleaseBeyond orbit
A venture that has reached escape velocity is, by definition, free. We step back to a supporting orbit — equity partners and crew for life, but no longer the engine. The company belongs to its founders, travelling on its own.
What Earns a Launch Window

We back moonshots, not maybes.

We are deliberately selective. A venture has to clear three thresholds before we commit the thrust.

d
A distant destination

The ambition has to be far enough to matter. We are not interested in small, safe orbits. The bigger the distance, the more our velocity engine is worth — moonshots, category-makers, the genuinely new.

/
A reason AI bends the time

The venture must be one where intelligent systems collapse what used to take years — where a small crew, armed with the right machinery, can move at a scale that once required hundreds. That is our home advantage.

v
A founder who will keep burning

Escape rewards sustained thrust, not a single burst. We back founders with the endurance to keep applying energy long after the launch excitement fades. Conviction is the fuel we cannot supply.

A distant world
For Founders

What you get when
we commit thrust.

We are not a fund writing cheques from a distance, and not an incubator with a desk and a logo wall. We build beside you, with the same velocity engine that powers the agency — turned entirely toward your launch.

  • Capital and build, together. We invest, and we build — product, brand, and AI systems — from day zero, as partners in the craft.
  • The velocity engine, free of charge. The agency's AI machinery becomes your unfair advantage: a small crew moving like a large one.
  • A fixed destination. Before any thrust, we fix the bearing with you — the precise port worth aiming for.
  • Sustained energy, not a single burst. We stay through the long burn, supplying thrust until your own momentum carries you.
  • Release, by design. The goal is your independence. When you reach escape velocity, the company is yours, travelling on its own.

to frighten you, we should talk.

Tell us where you are trying to go. We will tell you if we can get you there.
